Dear friends and colleagues,

As we continue to monitor the evolving factors related to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to proceed with a virtual Conference on October 19-20, 2020.

This format, which we are experiencing for the first time, requires significant changes in the traditional structure of the conference. We are making every effort to hold and keep the high standard of the annual scientific program that will include the latest updates by leading experts and original abstracts by Israeli researchers. 

The continuing cooperation with the biomedical industry as always is very important, and also requires rethinking in the face of a change in the format of the conference.

The conference program is currently in the final planning stages and will soon be sent to members of the Israel Heart Association and the Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

In general, all abstracts received for presentation at the annual conference will also receive a stage to present at the virtual conference, although it is possible that a certain number of abstracts received for oral presentation will be forwarded to poster presentation.

The success of the conference depends on your active participation. We invite you to make the time and participate in the virtual conference as you would have in a face to face conference. These are challenging times for all of us but we are determined to maintain the scientific routine and continue the updates and research processes even within the current limitations.
